Designated Driver
Anheuser-Busch’s designated driver programs
promote the use of designated drivers at bars, restaurants
and home parties. Consumers typically receive free non-alcohol
beverages or discounts on food from bars or restaurants in
exchange for being named the designated driver in a group.
“Alert Cab” fights drunk driving by providing
bar and restaurant patrons who may have overindulged with
a free or reduced-fare cab ride home, and Anheuser-Busch partners
with the American Automobile Association on a similar program
in some locations, for free tow rides home, called “Tow
to Go.” For more information, visit www.designateddriver.com.

Boating Safety
This program, supported by the National
Safe Boating Council, reminds boaters, water skiers and
other water recreation enthusiasts to be responsible on the
water in all activities. The program includes billboard and
print advertisements, as well as consumer materials that offer
tips on hypothermia, safety equipment, distress signals and
responsible drinking.
Speakers Bureau
The members of the CA&E Speakers
Bureau bring a message of responsibility and respect for the
law to students around the nation, with the support of local
distributors. Several members of the speakers bureau deal
directly with safe driving issues. Click
